Hello, I tested the latest version of Softerra LDAP Administrator 2019.1 ( 4.17.20114.0 ) the other day. In all previous versions the Quick Search Bar always uses the highlighted entry in the Scope Pane as its searchbase. The latest version always searches the baseDN of the profile, no matter what entry you have highlighted in the Scope Pane. This behavior makes the Quick Search Bar unusable 99% of the time, because we want to narrow down the search results to specific branches, not the entire baseDN.
Is this change in behavior intentional, or would it be considered a bug?
Can you please change the behavior of the Quick Search Bar back to using the highlighted entry in the Scope Pane as its searchbase? Or at least make it a configurable setting so you can choose which way you want it to work? We do have an Unlimited Site License and Priority Annual Support, if that makes any difference.
